On June 18, Safe Haven Baby Boxes launched its Summer of Hope Fundraiser. The goal was to generate $100,000 by July 18. Donation categories ranged from $25 (hotline) to $500 (strengthening community readiness,) then jumped to $3,000 to “advance the mission nationwide.” Unfortunately, no free SHBB merch was offered as an incentive to give until it hurts., or less donor-painful , offer a chance at life .Sadly, over priced made-on-site SHBB Inc tumblers, and here used as bait in the past, are no longer available.
I was really excited about this fundraiser and followed it through the nifty tracking thermometer on the campaign webpage. Since SHBB Inc.’s 2025 IRS Form 990 indicates company assets of $4,450,764 and the latest net revenue of $2,470,147, I expected millions of fanbasers to toss some hefty bucks into the kettle. That is, a lot of people really care. But…well…An “affordability” problem?

.This makes even US feel embarrassed. SHBB Inc must be embarrassed too, since the fundraiser has gone unmentioned on social media–or at least on the platform that haven’t blocked us. I could be kind and say that somebody is asleep at the keyboard and hasn’t updated the final count, but I doubt it.
We are slowly building a collection of public records documents and HBBI Inc 990 Form filing here. Also see the Private and Government Safe Haven Baby Box Funders and Supporters in the US & Canada page. The charts will soon be formatted better.
