Jacksonville, Florida, City Councilman Rory Diamond has introduced City Council Bill 2026-186 that would appropriate approximately $314,000 (or as much as $600,000 with annual maintenance fees added, according to one report) from the city’s reserve funds to install at least 14 Safe Haven Boxes in the city–1 in each council district.
