HB476 : Establishes grant program of $160,00 to pay for installation and maintenance of baby abandonment boxes; no more than $20,000 can be granted per applicant.

- HB 200 Revises the Montana Safe Haven Law to allow a “newborn safety device” (baby box) to be installed at state-approved locations for anonymous relinquishment by a parent. Also allows for a 911 emergency call pick-up by designated service providers. Passed. Effective Date: July 1, 2023
